Field Notes: Gratitude For Sunny Winter Days

2019_11_20 (1 of 4).jpg

We are so thankful for this break from the rain!

We are taking advantage of it by catching up on planting our high demand crops such as Carrots, Salanova lettuce, green onions, and our baby greens.  When field work slows down due to the weather, we spend a lot of our time reflecting on the past year and discussing how we can improve and grow as a business. We are very excited for the year 2020 with new farm programs on the horizon, improvements in our day to day work flow, and more engagement with our community members.

Also a quick heads up that we are taking a break during the week of christmas from csa farm box deliveries. However, you can still find us at our weekend farmer’s markets for all your produce needs! Come on by and say hello!

You can find a listing of all the farmer’s market we do here —> Spade and Plow Farmer's Markets
