Floral Production Lead
Farm, CSA, Market, & Wholesale Operations
Monday — Tuesday — Wednesday – Thursday — Friday
7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
From seed to stem, bud to bloom, this is one of the most detailed roles on the farm! The ideal Crew Member candidate possesses a willingness to take direction swiftly and efficiently, an ability to work well with a team, and is both self-motivated and able to set and reach individual and collective goals.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Seeding, transferring, and transplanting veggies and flowers
Harvesting and maintaining flower production
Crafting and wrapping hundreds of bouquets in a timely manner
Coordinating with CSA, Wholesale, and Farmers Market Managers to define sales and strategy
Outline harvest projections and schedules
Outline post-harvest projections and schedules
Communicate with multiple team members
Build consistent and transparent relationships with customers
Driving and transferring product to farm, packing shed, and customers
Leading and managing a team, including participation in regular reviews and hiring.
Position Requirements
Background in agriculture or produce is necessary
Minimum 2 years experience in the floral industry
Quick counter and number-cruncher
Proficient in written and verbal English, Spanish proficiency is a plus!
Experience in crop planning and harvest projecting

Farm Operations
Tuesday — Wednesday — Thursday — Friday — Saturday
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Our Harvest Lead is the ultimate liaison between farm harvest and post-harvest packing shed operations. This position requires a Class-C California Drivers License and a clean driving record for transporting product from the farm to the packing shed. It requires heavy and repetitive lifting of 30 lbs or more. May require minimal field work.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Loading product from the farm into a farm van/truck
Transporting product safely from the field to the packing shed
Hydrocooling product upon return to the packing shed
Detailed recording in Harvest Log of quantities received
Any post-harvest help in washing, bunching, or packaging product
Pallet jack and forklift driving knowledge, a plus!
PACKING Shed Crew member
CSA & Wholesale Operations
Monday — Tuesday — Wednesday – Thursday — Friday
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Our Packing Shed is the most dynamic place on the farm. The ideal Crew Member candidate possesses a willingness to take direction swiftly and efficiently, an ability to work well with a team, and is both self-motivated and able to set and reach individual and collective goals.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Washing, weighing, counting, bagging and/or bunching items for CSA & Wholesale operations
Loading the CSA pack line with CSA box items for packout
Building and labeling boxes for CSA packout
Packing customized CSA boxes
Packing and labeling wholesale & restaurant orders
Farmers market Crew Member
Farmers Market Operations
Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Our Farmers Market Crew is no stranger to connection, empathy, and relationship-building. The farmers market is the cherry on top to an incredibly complex farming business operation, and our collective opportunity to share our stories and product with the folks who are kind enough to buy and eat it.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Loading and unloading tents, tables, and produce for sale at market
Setting up a safe, spacious, and thoughtfully-merchandised tent
Having a pulse on basic principles in product merchandising
People skills and outstanding customer service skills (eye-contact, acknowledgements, etc.)
Real-life applications for using produce (ie. Do you cook? How would you sell our product?)
