INGREDIENTS
pizza dough
tomato sauce
mozzarella cheese
summer squash
heirloom tomatoes
spring onion
garlic cloves
olive oil
handful of fresh basil
METHOD
If the pizza dough is frozen, transfer it to the fridge 8-12 hours before you intend on baking it. Remove dough from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature on the counter for at least an hour before baking.
Preheat your oven to 450ºF. Stretch the dough out on a lightly floured baking sheet and brush it with a tablespoon of olive oil. Generously spread tomato sauce onto the dough.
Top with the mozzarella, vegetables and minced garlic. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are golden-brown and the cheese on top is melted.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves once you have removed it from the oven and enjoy!
