Aptos Farmer's Market Welcomes Spade & Plow

Farmer’s markets connect neighboring communities and create a vibrant setting that reminds us of the values of healthy eating.  People gather at farmers markets to embark on a culinary adventure. It is a space to see, taste and learn about a variety of farm-fresh produce and products. As well as having an opportunity to hang-out and connect with farmers.

The Aptos Farmers Market offers abundant sunshine, a moderate climate, and a bountiful selection of top quality produce. We are happy to share that since May of 2019, we added the Aptos Farmer’s Market to our market line-up, and we have been enjoying the peaceful community of Aptos.

This is a new area for Spade & Plow, and we are happy to be involved with coastal farmers and vendors at the market. After all, food has a way of bringing people together. The Market gives us the space to connect with our customers and build customer relationships. It is important for us to share the benefits of organic and sustainable farming methods, and how the support from your community helps drive our mission. We receive a lot of feedback from our customers and we are highly appreciative.

Chefs introduce us to unique flavors and teach us a variety of ways to use vegetables. We are delighted to be collaborating with local Chefs from restaurants such as Pretty Good Advice in Soquel, Golden Roots Kitchen in Scotts Valley, Bad Animal in Santa Cruz, Alderwood in Santa Cruz and Bruxo Food Truck in Santa Cruz. By working with chefs, we will have more opportunities to expand our horizon to what we will grow in the future.

We continue to be inspired by the people we meet along the way. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
